Kenneth Willy
I was educated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral School, Sydney, Australia, on a choral scholarship, singing in the Cathedral Choir. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree in Australia, and my Master of Music degree in England. In 2016, I completed my Doctor of Ministry degree in Educational Leadership at the Virginia Theological Seminary. I currently serve on the Standards Committee of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, and have completed six years on the Association's Board of Directors.
Prior to moving to the United States, I was Director of Music and Performing Arts at my alma mater. Before taking up my appointment in 2013 as Headmaster of Oak Hall Episcopal School, I was Dean of Students at St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School, Coral Gables, Florida, and Director of Music for both the school and the church.
My wife Amanda and I have been married since 1997, and we have two children. Charlies is in Eighth Grade at Oak Hall. Gemma, an Oak Hall graduate, attends St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Austin, Texas. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, reading, watching sports, shooting Sporting Clays, and the pleasures of good food and wine, and a decent ale. We worship and ae involved in a variety of activities and ministries at St. Philip's Episcopal Church.
