Taylor Simmons

I grew up in Ardmore, graduating from Ardmore High School as a valedictorian. I attended The University of Oklahoma, graduating with a degree in Music Education and a Bachelor of the Arts.

I taught elementary music for Oklahoma City Public Schools for two years before moving to Lake County, California. I then taught at Konocti Unified School District for 6 years, working with 4th-12th grades. My husband, Patrick, and I moved back to Ardmore to be near family in 2024. We have two children, Clavin and Lillie, born in 2022 and 2024. Calvin now attends Oak Hall, about which we are very excited. This will be my second year teaching at Oak Hall Episcopal School, and I am looking forward to sharing my experience and passion for music with the students of Oak Hall.
