First Grade Teacher

My dad was career Air Force and after his retirement we located to Dension, Texas to be near our family. I graduated from Denison High School, then Grayson County College with an associate degree and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

My teaching career started with Ardmore City Schools where I taught fifth grade at Charles Evans Elementary and then third grade  at Lincoln Elementary.

I married my husband James in 1980. We have a daughter Meredith, and her husband Jace Marshall, and a son Jacob. We have two precious grands Caroline and Griffin Marshall.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling with my family and friends, and I love going to the movie theater. First Presbyterian Church as been a vital part of my life since 1981.
