In 2005, I received an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii/Leeward Community College. Four years later I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Additionally, I earned a Master of Education — Reading Option from East Central University in 2013. Before coming to Oak Hall Episcopal School I taught language arts, Texas history and U.S. history in Texas.
In 2011, I joined the staff of Oak Hall. I currently teach Middle School English, World History, World Geography, and U.S. History. I am a U.S. Navy veteran and have worked and lived in various regions of the United States. My husband Chris and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We have three children: Kevin, Nicholas, and Kelsie. Our granddaughter, Karli, is a Kindergarten student here at Oak Hall. I spend my spare time shuttling Karli to her various activities (and traveling, when possible).
