Scott Saner
I graduated from High School in Kenai, Alaska, and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Christian College (now Oklahoma Christian University) and my Master of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I have also attained a number of credit hours from a variety of universities and colleges around the state in Tulsa, Ada, Weatherford, Oklahoma City and also Hays, Kansas. In Oklahoma and Texas, I have undertaken both Advanced Placement and Pre-AP training, as well as Advanced Algebra training in Texas.
I joined the Oak Hall faculty in 2013. With thirty plus years of experience teaching in three states, I am also a tutor at the Murray State College Ardmore Campus. My other work experiences have ranged from commercial salmon fishing to census worker. I currently live in Ardmore with my wife Tina, who works for the District Attorney in child support services. Our son, Colin (an Oak Hall alum), graduated from ECU in 2019, married his wife Piper in October of 2021, and is employed by Rolling Hills Hospital in Ada in the accounting department. Their family includes two large dogs.
